LG Error Codes: Washer, Dryer, Dishwasher & Refrigerator

LG uses short two-letter codes ending in E (for “error”) across washers, dryers, and dishwashers — for example OE for a drain problem — and longer ER codes on refrigerators. The letter usually points straight at the system involved. Find your code below.

⚠ Safety first. Unplug the appliance (or switch off its breaker) before touching internal parts. Gas, high-voltage, and sealed refrigerant-system repairs must be done by a licensed professional. If you smell gas or see scorching, stop and call a technician.
