Samsung Error Codes: Washer, Dryer, Dishwasher & Fridge

Samsung appliances show short alphanumeric codes; newer models use a letter+C format (e.g. 4C) while older ones used a letter+E (e.g. 4E) for the same fault. Codes are consistent across many Samsung washers, dryers, dishwashers, and fridges. Find yours below.

⚠ Safety first. Unplug the appliance (or switch off its breaker) before touching internal parts. Gas, high-voltage, and sealed refrigerant-system repairs must be done by a licensed professional. If you smell gas or see scorching, stop and call a technician.
